Eswatini’s New Power Couple: MulaSport and ESRC Are ‘Goals’

In a union that has the entire kingdom talking, MulaSport and the Eswatini Sport and Recreation Council (ESRC) have officially become Eswatini’s newest “power couple.” The two giants sealed their partnership on March 5, 2026, at the EOCGA head office in Lobamba, in a ceremony that was nothing short of a royal engagement.

Dubbed a “marriage made in heaven,” the deal sees MulaSport inject a staggering E250 000 into the ESRC, securing the naming rights for the sixth edition of the National Sports Awards. Moving forward, the prestigious event will be known as the MulaSport National Sports Awards.

Speaking at the well-attended media event, MulaSport Managing Director, Mr. Magagula, beamed with excitement about the new union. He expressed his hope that this partnership would “stand the test of time,” admitting that the collaboration with the ESRC was actually “long overdue.”

The ceremony was graced by the who’s who of the sporting world, including ESRC CEO Darius Dlomo, ESRC Board Chairman Celucolo Dlamini, as well as staff from both organizations.

If this “engagement” is anything to go by, the future of Eswatini’s sports awards is looking very bright—and very lavish.
