Eswatini Cricket Association
The Eswatini Cricket Association (ECA) is the official governing body for cricket in the Kingdom of Eswatini (formerly Swaziland). Headquartered in Matsapha, we oversee all forms of cricket nationwide, managing national teams across men's, women's, and junior levels.
Cricket in Eswatini began in the late 1970s and was revived in 2005 by a dedicated group of five individuals. We were accepted as an Affiliate Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in June 2007, and promoted to Associate Member status in 2017 – the second-highest level of ICC membership. We are also proud members of the African Cricket Association.
Our mission is to develop cricket at all levels, with a strong focus on junior development from Under-10 through to Under-19, ensuring a sustainable talent pipeline for the future.
