SIBUSISO MATSENJWA ‘BOLTS’ ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK

Sprinter, Sibusiso ‘Swazi Bolt’ Matsenjwa was all smiles when presented with cash incentives of close to E100 000 by various sponsors.
He was rewarded for his stunning performance in Tokyo, Japan during the recently ended Olympic Games.
Different sponsors made their presentations in front of an equally elated Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs, honourable Harries ‘Madze’ Bulunga at the ministry’s conference room today (13 August 2021).
Construction giants, Inyatsi Construction were the biggest givers, as they presented the athlete with E50 000 cash. FNB, Waterman and Mula Sports also all came to the party with various amounts.
Matsenjwa’s coach, Muzi Mabuza was also presented with a sum of E5000 cash for his role.
Also present during the function was Eswatini Sport and Recreation Council (ESRC) Board Chairman, Celucolo ‘Dino’ Dlamini, ESRC Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Darius Dlomo, Director of Sports, Lucky Sihlongonyane, Kukhanyeni Member of Parliament, Vincent Sihlongonyane and other high ranking government officials.
In the same function, the whole team, which represented the country in the games, was also praised for giving it their all despite failing to come back home with a medal.
