Following reports by the World Health Organisation on the outbreak of the Corona Virus (COVID-19), the Council has taken a very considered decision, which puts the interests and safety of our athletes and citizens above all else, to suspend all international travel by our respective recognised sports bodies for various sports related engagements until the situation with the outbreak is normalised.
The Council, as such, shall not be recommending any clearance of any persons for any international engagement or participation to the Ministry of Sports, Culture & Youth Affairs.
The Council requests for utmost cooperation from all concerned to ensure the safety of our citizens from this epidemic.
